Last night saw EC Electronics attend the Inspire Business awards held in Hook, Hampshire. Many of the long standing members of the EC team were in attendance as EC sought success.
EC were short listed for two awards, the first was for young EC Engineer Tom Shadwell, whos hard work and dedication to the business had led to him being nominated for Employee of the year. The second award EC were nominated for, probably the most prestigious of the night, was Business of the year.
After a tasty gala dinner, the award ceremony kicked off. Unfortunately Tom just missed out on Employee of the year however, commiserations were quickly turned into celebrations with the announcement that EC had won Business of the Year 2014.
Phil Simmonds EC’s Managing Director commented saying,
“I am absolutely delighted with EC’s success. We were slightly disappointed that Tom did not win Employee of the year but to be awarded Business of the year quickly changed the mood to one of celebration and joy. EC celebrates it’s 30th year in the Electronics Manufacturing industry this year and this award is the perfect way to top off what has been an amazing year. I would like to thank all of EC’s staff for their diligence and commitment to success and say that without you, none of this could have been possible. We are looking forward to repeating this success at the Elektra awards later this month where we are up for Manufacturer of the Year.”
