EC Electronics are pleased to announce that we shall be exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing 2015. Southern Manufacturing is one of the largest manufacturing exhibitions in the country and is held yearly in the early spring in Farnborough, Hampshire, with this year’s event being held on the 10th to the 12th February 2015. It showcases the best manufacturing companies the UK has to offer and is a great opportunity for companies to meet and contact perspective customers and suppliers, helping increase business for all parties involved.
Visitors to EC’s stand- D68- will be treated to a demonstration in Low Pressure Overmoulding (LPO). LPO is a unique process for encapsulating electronics, in many cases acting as a more efficient replacement to traditional encapsulation techniques such as potting or conformal coating. Low pressure overmoulding can protect components from dust, vibration, shock and after market tampering, as well as being sealed to IP-67 standard. It is a cost effective approach for protecting electronic components and is extremely fast, which visitors to stand D68, will be able to witness for themselves.
EC electronics are still currently one of the only Contract Electronics Manufacturers that can offer low pressure overmoulding as part of our complete turnkey manufacturing service, meaning that EC can source materials, manufacture products and seal vulnerable components as part of our complete service.
