PCB Assembly Services
Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are now an integral part of everyday life across a variety of different industries including Industrial, Medical, Automotive, Rail, Marine and Security electronics.
As one of the top PCB assembly manufacturers in the UK, we have 40 years’ experience in assembling and supplying high-quality PCB assemblies to exact specifications and are constantly adapting to the demands of our customers.
From basic assemblies to complicated PCB capabilities such as flexible circuits, thermal substrates and PCBs with blind and buried vias, we are confident we can meet all your production needs through our broad range of printed circuit board assembly services.
We use only the best components for the job, sourced from our extensive network of well-known manufacturers and distributors including Microchip, ST, AVX, VISHAY, Kemet, Bourns, Avnet, Arrow, TTI, Digikey, RS and Farnell. Any moisture-sensitive PCB components are stored in temperature and humidity-controlled chambers to ensure optimal performance.
Our facilities are also equipped with the latest machines, and our services encompass both surface-mount and through-hole assemblies. This means we can offer different levels of service — from supplying PCB prototypes right through to the manufacture of complex, multi-technology printed circuit boards.
Whether you are looking for low or high-volume PCBA, we can help.
High-speed processes
Over the years, we have invested heavily in equipping our manufacturing sites with state-of-the-art convection reflow and wave soldering equipment. This ensures controlled soldering of PCB components following automatic or hand placement.
Our high-speed pick-and-place lines are also configured with large component sequencers, advanced solder paste printers and convection reflow solder ovens.
Surface-mount & through-hole technology
From our facilities in the UK and Romania, we offer both surface-mount and plated through-hole PCB assembly — enabling us to meet a range of requirements and the most demanding applications.
Our state-of-the-art surface-mount technology lines are capable of placing BGA parts as well as fine-pitch devices. The equipment can be programmed to place a full array of components. We also deploy through-hole technology for assemblies in many critical applications such as transformers, heatsinks, RF shields and connectors.
These advanced automated machines enable us to deliver consistent assembly performance, while giving us the capacity and flexibility to produce high-volume production batches for a range of different applications.

Quality assurance
Our fully trained operators are skilled in assembling a wide range of incredibly complex boards to the highest quality. We work to industry standard IPC-A-610 Class 3, so you can feel confident your projects are in safe hands with our specialist team.
All PCBs we manufacture are also inspected using the latest 3D automatic optical inspection (AOI) technology to provide assurance of circuit functionality. Our Quality Management System (QMS) is ATEX certified, meaning that all electronics manufacturing processes and products meet the minimum requirements for intrinsic safety (IS) in potentially explosive atmospheres.
