As part of EC Electronics, we’re building on those strengths with the backing of a larger, engineering-led Electronics Manufacturing Services provider.
Fastlink customers can now benefit from significantly enhanced PCB assembly and box build capabilities, alongside access to specialist manufacturing services including overmoulding, potting and encapsulation.
For customers operating in defence and aerospace, the acquisition also provides access to EC Electronics’ AS9100-certified manufacturing capability, opening up new opportunities for high-reliability, mission-critical projects.

Fastlink Data Cables Ltd is now part of EC Electronics, further strengthening the Group’s cable assembly capability and expanding its Electronics Manufacturing Services offering.
Founded in 1993 and based in Swindon, Fastlink specialises in the manufacture of cable assemblies and box build solutions, with extensive experience supporting customers in the data centre sector as well as defence, aerospace and other technology-led industries.
The business has built a strong reputation for quality, flexibility and long-term customer partnerships. That reputation will continue, with the same experienced team remaining in place now supported by the wider resources, engineering expertise and manufacturing footprint of the EC Electronics Group.
