Our overmoulding services use Henkel Corporation’s renowned Technomelt (formerly ‘Macromelt’) thermoplastic hot-melt adhesives, known for their exceptional performance and reliability. While there are many alternatives, we have chosen to work closely with Henkel’s compounds because this material consistently provides excellent results. The method also offers a cost-effective, reliable product and superior sealing — allowing our electronics experts to create high-quality, durable solutions.
Key characteristics
We’re here to provide expert manufacturing guidance and support throughout every stage of your project. When selecting the right material grade, moisture and solvent resistance are key considerations – with softer materials typically offering the best adhesive properties. However, it’s important to note that most Technomelt moulding materials have limited resistance to solvents when combined with mechanical stress.
